It’s easy\, fulfilling\, and requires just two 45 minute sessions with youth each week. Volunteer reading tutors work one-on-one with Club members using an easy-to-follow curriculum and tools powered by Reading Partners.No prior tutoring experience is necessary. \nReading Partners Curriculum \nAll volunteer tutors will complete a 90-minute onboarding and training to learn the curriculum. Giving you all the tools you need to be a successful tutor! This onboarding will occur virtually in two sessions: Monday\, 2/26/24\, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm\, or Thursday\, 2/29/24\, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Tutors must attend one of these two trainings. If for some reason you are not able to attend one of these sessions\, please let us know. \nWhere? When? \nVolunteer tutors will work with youth at one of these three Club sites: North Seattle Club (Greenwood)\, Rotary Club (Central District)\, or Southwest Club (White Center). He has over 20 years of experience in project management\, coaching\, and process improvement working in and with the military\, startups\, federal and state agencies\, nonprofits\, universities\, and Fortune 500 companies.
