We will hosting the event at Good Roots in Buckley and inviting our southern district clubs to share in their stories about Rotary and its impact for good. \nCLICK HERE FOR TICKETS  \nOur main speaker will be Michael Schindler is a U.S. Navy veteran\, co-executive producer\, executive trainer\, and leadership development expert. He has over 20 years of experience in project management\, coaching\, and process improvement working in and with the military\, startups\, federal and state agencies\, nonprofits\, universities\, and Fortune 500 companies. He helps individuals and organizations navigate and thrive in complex and uncertain environments\, using the VUCA (volatility\, uncertainty\, complexity\, and ambiguity) framework. \nWe will also hear from Good Roots team and the impact they make in their community.  Our venue will be at their location where we will provide food and drinks while you enjoy networking and listen to our guest speakers. \nWe will also have an opportunity to update you all on the RISE leadership program and Our Mayberry’s platform in support of our district business network. \nHowever\, the key theme for the event is one of celebration for all our south end clubs and their guests. \n

DESCRIPTION:District 5030 Vocational Team presents a “Philanthropy in a Box” talk with Copperwork’s President and Co-Founder – Jason Parker in support of our first RISE graduates!  RISE (Rotarians Inspired to Succeed and Engage) is a Mentorship and Leadership Development Program based on the principles of Servant Leadership. \nYou can join us in Person or Via Zoom\, it’s your call! \nThursday\, November 16\, 2023 from 5:00PM to 6:30PM. \nCome learn about how this award-winning whiskey is made\, particularly with the inspired vision that its founder and president\, Jason Parker\, has in developing sustainable and beneficial partnerships that support our local community. \nRotarians Inspired to Succeed and Engage\nThis will be the first district “Philanthropy in a Box” thought leadership event coupled with the graduation of our first cohort of RISE participants.  We will be offering a selection of BBQ and vegetarian foods coupled with an opportunity to taste the Copperworks products. \nCopperworks will be offering 10% off their products to each in-person registrant at the end of the evening.  We will also be offering for purchase a bottle of a District 5030 inspired whiskey that can be consumed personally or bought as a gift for someone special.  It is a limited addition run\, with profits going back to support the district. \n\n\nWe hope you will be able to join us for this thought leadership event to learn how Copperworks make their award-winning whiskey\, while helping to make a difference in the community by supporting our RISE graduates with their successful completion of their leadership training.  Perhaps you may be tempted to purchase a bottle or two from Copperworks to celebrate the festive season with some Aqua Vitae and friends!
