2026 A New Year of Growth, Unity, and Impact

Dear Rotarians of District 5030,

As we begin a new year, many of us take time to reflect, reset, and renew our commitments. In Rotary, January offers us a powerful opportunity to do the same — not just as individuals, but as clubs united in purpose.

Across District 5030, I encourage each club to think of this moment as a Rotary New Year’s resolution: a renewed commitment evolving your club’s culture to grow membershipunite for good, and increase our impact in the communities we serve.

Growing your club’s membership is not about numbers alone. It is about inviting others to share in the joy of service, the strength of fellowship, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. When we create welcoming, engaging club experiences and personally invite others to join us, we ensure Rotary’s future while honoring its values. It’s also important to keep in mind that you will lose members as part of natural attrition, so please plan to target adding about 20% to your current base.

Uniting for good reminds us that Rotary’s greatest strength lies in connection — across clubs, across generations, and across communities. When we collaborate, support one another, and embrace diversity of thought, culture and background, we amplify what we can accomplish together.

And increasing our impact calls us to focus not just on what we do, but why we do it. By aligning our projects with real community needs and telling our stories as People of Action, we make Rotary visible, relevant, and inspiring to those we serve and those we hope to welcome.

As we step into this new year, I invite every club to reflect on one simple question:
How can we grow, unite, and serve even more boldly in 2025?

Thank you for your leadership, your service, and your unwavering commitment to Rotary. Together, we are shaping a stronger local community through Rotary and creating lasting change — right here in District 5030 and around the world.

With gratitude and confidence in what lies ahead.

Yours in Rotary service,
