Music Mends Minds is a nonprofit that creates musical support groups for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and other neurological disorders.

Harvest Against Hunger

Harvest Against Hunger works with farmers, truckers, volunteers and others to bring valuable skills and resources into hunger relief efforts in communities across Washington state and beyond.

Saving lives through research, innovation, education and excellence in blood, medical and laboratory services in partnership with our community.

Tiny Homes

In Seattle, Rotary members are building 400 square feet tiny houses to provide shelter and stability for the homeless. You can be part of the solution and join us at our next session.

Committees

Finance Committee

The Rotary District Finance Committee is a vital part of the district leadership, tasked with overseeing the district's financial health. Comprised of experienced Rotarians with financial acumen, the committee is responsible for creating annual budgets, tracking income and expenditures, ensuring financial compliance with Rotary International's guidelines, and providing transparent financial reports to the district. This group plays an instrumental role in securing the financial sustainability of the district, thereby enabling continuous service to the community.

Environmental/Sustainability

The Rotary Environmental/Sustainability Committee is a dedicated team of Rotarians committed to championing environmental causes and promoting sustainability within their district and beyond. The committee is responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring initiatives aimed at environmental protection, conservation, and sustainable development. They guide Rotary clubs in integrating sustainability practices in their projects and activities. Their work aligns with Rotary International's commitment to supporting the environment, showcasing the belief that all Rotary service contributes to — and relies on — a healthy planet.

Peacebuilder Committee

The Rotary Peacebuilder Committee is a committed group of Rotarians devoted to advancing peace and conflict resolution within their district and around the world. The committee facilitates initiatives aimed at promoting dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation, fostering an environment conducive to peace. Their work includes organizing peacebuilding workshops, collaborating with peace-related organizations, and supporting the Rotary Peace Centers. They champion Rotary's dedication to building peace and preventing conflicts, an effort underscored by one of Rotary's main areas of focus: peace and conflict prevention/resolution.

Membership Committee

The Rotary Membership Committee is a critical component of the district leadership dedicated to nurturing and growing the district's membership base. This committee is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to recruit new members, retain current members, and engage all members in the club's activities. They work closely with clubs to create a welcoming environment that fosters fellowship and encourages active participation. Their mission aligns with Rotary International's goal to expand its network of problem-solvers and community leaders committed to service above self.

Youth Services Committee

The Rotary Youth Services Committee is a group of devoted Rotarians who are passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders. The committee oversees programs aimed at developing leadership skills, fostering community service ethics, and promoting international understanding among young people. Their responsibilities include managing youth-focused initiatives such as Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange.

Public Image Committee

The Rotary District 5030 Public Image Committee serves the purpose of promoting and enhancing the public image of Rotary within the District 5030 community. This committee strives to raise awareness about Rotary's humanitarian efforts, community service projects, and contributions to local and global causes. By utilizing various communication channels, such as social media, traditional media outlets, and public relations strategies, the committee aims to showcase Rotary's positive impact and engage the public in understanding the organization's mission and values.
