For the past thirty-seven years the Auburn Rotary Club has held the Auburn Rotary Scholarship Show to support Auburn students in pursuing their academic goals. This annual concert has featured some of the finest country music talent in America. Former artists have included some of the top names in Country Music: Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Rodney Atkins, Sara Evans, Thompson Square, Diamond Rio, Patty Loveless, Joe Diffie, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Keith Anderson, Phil Vassar, Kathy Mattea, Bucky Covington, Chris Cagle, Neal McCoy, Craig Campbell, Maddie and Tae and Danielle Bradbery, just to name a few. This event attracts patrons from the entire Pacific Northwest Region as well as nationally.
This annual event is our major fundraiser and proceeds from the show provide scholarships for Auburn area students to attend colleges and vocational schools. Over the years the Auburn Rotary Club has raised over $1 million dollars for thousands of students. This contribution is making a difference. Surveys of scholarship recipients show that 95% have reached their educational goals by earning either an associate of arts degree or four-year baccalaureate degree.
Proceeds from ticket sales, as well as any excess funds from sponsorships, go directly to support students. No administrative fee is taken out. The concert is held at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) on the campus of Auburn High School.
This year, we are holding our event on October 20, 2023, at the Auburn Performing Arts Center. This beautiful facility holds close to 1,000 people and is an acoustical masterpiece, providing a quality experience for the audience.
