B J Cummings, sought-after speaker and author of The River That Made Seattle: A Natural and Human History of the Duwamish, will be speaking Thursday, September 25, at the luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club of Seattle International District. The meeting will be at Joyale Seafood Restaurant, 900 Jackson, at 11:30. Cummings will discus the community-based clean-up and restoration of the Duwamish River.
