RISE: Congratulation to the Fall 2024 Graduates!
Bellevue, December 2024: 17 Rotarians from the Rotary District 5030 celebrated their 6-week leadership development program of RISE, which stands for Rotarians Inspired to Succeed and Engage!
The RISE program develops emerging leaders, offers a culture of growth and fosters a peer support network with fellow Rotarians. The graduates have applied the skills they learned in their professional and Rotary lives. Plus, they’ve expanded their network with each other and with their mentors.
The program has received high praise for its quality content and positive impact on participants’ professional lives and Rotary leadership. It includes engaging workshops and valuable networking opportunities.
Stacie Thorlakson, President of Eastside Action Rotary Club (EARC) and former Spring 2024 RISE graduate states, “I’m so proud of our Rotarian, Andrew Sotheby, who completed this program and will use his leadership skills in his role as Foundation Chair.” As a newly chartered club and Rotarian, education is invaluable, particularly learning from peers to apply to our club’s progress and comprehension!
Presidents, are encouraged to find emerging leaders in your club to offer them the RISE program to help accelerate their leadership development.
Rotarians, if you’re interested and thinking of taking the online courses, the RISE program will offer two 2025 sessions:
- Spring Cohort 4: April 9 – June 16
- Fall Cohort 5: September 11 – December 4
