The Alzheimer’s / Dementia Rotary Action Group (ADRAG) is proud to announce the launch of our new Advocacy Program, designed to empower Rotarians across the globe to take leadership roles in the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia. Through this program, we are introducing two pivotal roles: District Ambassadors and Club Champions, who will play a key role in advancing awareness and fundraising within Rotary clubs and districts.
As a District Ambassador, Rotarians will serve as a key point of contact for ADRAG within their Rotary district. Ambassadors will work closely with district leadership, helping to coordinate events, share resources, and ensure that the message of Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness is widespread throughout the Rotary community. This role is perfect for those with a passion for advocacy and a desire to make a meaningful difference at a district level.
Club Champions, on the other hand, will focus their efforts within individual Rotary clubs. These champions will spearhead club-specific initiatives, from fundraising efforts to educational campaigns, bringing the cause of Alzheimer’s and dementia to the forefront of their club’s service agenda. Club Champions are encouraged to collaborate with District Ambassadors to leverage district-wide resources and strategies for local success.
Through these new roles, ADRAG is offering the tools and resources needed to equip every Rotarian to be a leader in this important cause. Visit adrag.org to learn more about the Advocacy Program and how you can get involved in your district or club.
