Dear Rotarians,
July marks the beginning of a new Rotary year—a time of fresh leadership, renewed purpose, and bold opportunities. Across District 5030, new presidents are stepping up, new ideas are taking root, and our shared commitment to service is more energized than ever.
Fittingly, this year’s Rotary International theme, “Rotary Opens Opportunities,” calls on us to expand our reach, elevate our impact, and invite new voices into the conversation. Here in our District, we’re already making that happen.
We’re proud to announce that Hunger Strike 2025 is now open for club participation, and this year promises to be the most exciting yet. In addition to the 30-day fundraising challenge to support local hunger relief efforts—with 50% of the net proceeds going directly to each club’s chosen beneficiary—this year is filled with surprises and enhanced benefits for every club.
Among them:
✅ Every participating club will receive a custom radio public service announcement, professionally voiced by nationally known TV and radio personality Gill Gross, spotlighting your club’s cause and calling your community to action.
✅ Clubs and participants will enjoy new tools, awards, and visibility opportunities designed to drive greater engagement and results.
