Operation Pollination Project: Lake Forest Park

The Environmental Sustainability Committee of the Lake Forest Park Rotary Club is developing a three site project in Pfingst Animal Acres Park located at 175th and Brookside Blvd NE in Lake Forest Park.  We have three separate sites which each have a slightly different micro climate where we will be planting native pollinators for birds, bees and other animals.  The finished areas will have signage and information about the creation of the project as well as identifying signage.  There will be information for the community on how to develop a pollinator garden in their own gardens.

This project will be a part of the greater effort to create a pollinator corridor for the bees between Eastern and Western Washington. We are also creating a map of everyone in the community who wishes to participate in this effort and hope to link it districtwide and then statewide.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our project or how to start one.
