Rotary District 5030 Lithium Battery Recycling Event
Saturday, April 20, 2024 10AM to 3 PM
11 locations throughout the greater Seattle Puget Sound Area
Building on District 5030’s successful lithium battery recycling event in 2022, District 5030 Rotarians will unite again, with the support of District Governor Kaj, to offer 11 sites for community members to recycle lithium batteries that come in in cell phones, laptops, tablets, power drills, e-bikes, electric vehicles and anything that is rechargeable.
The need to recycle batteries wisely is critical to our environment.
Please visit our Recycling website: https://rotary.my.canva.site/2024-rotary-lithium-ion-battery-recycling to learn more about our partner, Redwood Materials and about the process and this major environmental campaign.
The first recycling events were held by Rotary Clubs in California. However, our Rotary D5030 event 2023 was the first district-wide event in the world.
Collection site locations available for Saturday, April 20, from 10 am to 3 pm:
- Lake Forest Park Town Center
- Bellevue Downtown Park
- QFC in Bellevue
