Welcome From District Governor Rachele Bouchand

Happy New Year, Rotary Family!

As we continue the District’s work in supporting clubs this year, a large focus will be on training, expanding leadership opportunities and communicating these strengths to attract and engage members.  We are continuing our RISE (Rotarians Inspired to Succeed and Engage) leadership program. Applications and more details are found at https://district5030.org/rise/ . You will also see in-person and virtual training opportunities this year.

Personally, I have benefited from expanding my global perspective through community service and growing my leadership skills through opportunities created by my numerous mentors in Rotary. Many of you have inspiring stories and I encourage you to join me in our storytelling campaign to attract and engage members. I would like you to take time to reflect on two questions: 1) Why did you join Rotary and 2) Why do you stay?

Thank you for your service in Rotary. Because of your work and passion, we are making a positive impact in the world and our communities. I look forward to hearing about the amazing work you do. You are the Magic the Rotary, and I am honored to serve as your District Governor for the 2024-25 year.

Warm regards,
Rachele
