District Governor Nominee Designation Process

Rotary District 5030 • 2029–2030 Rotary Year

District 5030 is inviting Rotary clubs to identify and nominate qualified past club presidents to serve as the District Governor for the 2029–2030 Rotary year. This is one of the district’s most respected leadership opportunities, focused on supporting clubs, strengthening membership, advancing The Rotary Foundation, and inspiring Rotarians across the district.

The District Governor serves as a servant leader and ambassador for Rotary, helping guide club presidents, develop district leadership teams, recognize club achievements, and promote continuity throughout the district leadership pipeline. Candidates should have a strong history of Rotary service beyond the club level and a passion for mentorship, leadership development, and community impact.

Important Dates & Process

  • Clubs are encouraged to announce the opportunity to their members and past presidents immediately.
  • Completed nomination materials must be submitted by June 8, 2026.
  • Candidate interviews are planned for July 14, 2026.
  • Rotary International Governor Nominee Training Seminar (GNTS) is scheduled for September 2–6, 2026.
