I hope you’ve been enjoying the summer and are ready to transition into Fall.
One aspect of the work we do as Rotarians is supporting The Rotary International Foundation (TRIF). In addition to the hands-on work in our local communities, I’m happy to share that our District sponsors the most global grants in the Rotary World! I am awed and inspired by your creativity in solving problems, collaboration and commitment to our seven areas of focus:
- Promoting Peace
- Fighting Disease
- Providing Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
- Saving Mothers and Children
- Supporting Education
- Growing Local Economies
- Protecting the Environment
To celebrate the incredible generosity and unwavering commitment of our district’s donors to The Rotary International Foundation (TRIF), our District’s will have a Rotary Foundation Gala on October 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Doubletree SeaTac ballroom.
Join us as we honor these remarkable individuals whose significant contributions made a profound impact on Rotary’s mission and projects worldwide.
We will celebrate donors who have reached a new tier of giving. Moreover, we will honor donors who achieve their first Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) recognition ($1,000 in cumulative giving to The Rotary Foundation). Additionally, for first-time PHF recipients, the District will contribute up to 500 points as a match to your $500 donation so you can achieve your first level Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
