Membership Matters: A Message from the New Chair

We’re excited to launch “Membership Matters,” a dedicated section in our district newsletter focused on the people, programs, and ideas shaping Rotary District 5030’s growth.
We begin by introducing Stephen Morse, our new District Membership Chair for the 2025–2028 term. A proud member of Seattle 4 Rotary, where he previously served as Membership Co-chair, Stephen brings creativity, vision, and energy to this vital role.
Stephen’s top priorities over the next three years include:
✔️ Increasing member engagement
✔️ Boosting retention
✔️ Attracting new members with fresh, innovative approaches

He succeeds Tim Leahy, Bellevue Eastside Rotary Club, who served with dedication and heart over the past three years. Tim isn’t going far—he will continue contributing his passion and experience through the District Membership Committee and the District Public Image Committee.

🤝 “We know that membership and public image go hand in hand,” Tim shared. “By working closely together, we can grow stronger, more vibrant clubs throughout our district.”
Stay tuned to this “Membership Matters” section in future newsletters for updates, tools, success stories, and ways you and your club can help grow Rotary.
Let’s make membership everyone’s business!
