Rotary District 5030 is proud to spotlight one of its most impactful leadership development initiatives: RISE — Rotarians Inspired to Succeed & Engage. Designed to identify and empower emerging leaders, RISE is shaping the future of Rotary one cohort at a time.
Each year, clubs across our district nominate a rising Rotarian—often a President-Elect, committee chair, or standout volunteer—who demonstrates passion, potential, and a willingness to grow. These individuals are invited to participate in an 11-week hybrid leadership experience, combining virtual learning, in-person gatherings, and mentorship rooted in Rotary values.

Throughout the program, participants gain actionable skills in:
Strategic planning
Effective communication
Membership engagement
Project management
Public image and community partnerships
Each RISE participant is paired with a Rotary mentor, offering personal guidance, support, and wisdom. This unique mentorship aspect helps bridge generations of leadership and reinforces Rotary’s commitment to service and lifelong learning.
More than just a course, RISE is a transformational experience. Graduates leave with renewed purpose, new connections across the district, and a toolkit to bring innovation and energy back to their clubs. Many go on to serve as presidents, district committee members, or project leads—creating a ripple effect that benefits us all.
