For 17 years, the Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) has preserved and celebrated Black culture and heritage to cultivate hope and healing across communities. On Friday, October 10, 2025, NAAM will host its annual Unity Benefit at the Four Seasons Seattle. Unity represents the pinnacle of our fundraising efforts, and the proceeds directly fuel our most vital work—from groundbreaking exhibitions that illuminate untold stories, to education initiatives that inspire the next generation, to dynamic public programs and community events that bring us together in meaningful ways.
At the event, we will present the Champions of Unity Award to Rotarian and founding NAAM Board member Ezra Teshome. The award celebrates leaders whose service exemplifies unity and uplifts communities. For decades, Ezra has led Rotary teams to Ethiopia as part of the global polio eradication effort, reaching millions of children and earning recognition by Time magazine as one of ten global health heroes. He has also championed projects that expand clean water access, deliver ambulances, and transform countless lives.
Celebrate Ezra and support NAAM’s mission by purchasing a ticket or making a gift at www.naamnw.org/unity-benefit.
