Your District Environmental/Sustainability Committee and the Rotary Club of Enumclaw invite all Rotarians to join them on Saturday morning, November 8th to restore the once important native foraging and fishing natural area along the Boise Creek Trail. There will be 400 native edible plants to plant and some blackberry removal for those who love the rush of digging up a blackberry crown! We’ll start at 8:45AM at the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation (1304 Griffin Ave., Enumclaw, 98022) with refreshments while learning the history and significance of the Boise Creek Trail and environs before carpooling by van or car to the trail for planting. We’ll break before noon when everyone is welcome to enjoy fellowship at a no host lunch in town. Contact Nancy Merrill with questions or for more information: nancysmerrill@gmail.com.
