LYNNWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER PLAYGROUND

LYNNWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER

The Rotary Club of Lynnwood is the Lead Club in an ongoing District Grant for 3-4 years to fund the playground at the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center in Lynnwood, WA. The Rotary Club of Lynnwood has committed to donate $5,000 per year from 2024 – 2027-2028 Rotary years. This past year, with our partner Clubs, Alderwood Terrace, Mill Creek, and Edmonds Daybreakers, we raised $24,000 that will go toward the groundbreaking of the playground area at the Center.

This year we hope to again, with partner clubs, to once again be granted a District Grant. This year the grant dollars will go toward playground equipment. *Since this is such a much needed and impactful project that will touch the lives of 20,000 people per year, we would like to give an opportunity for all Rotary members and friends in District 5030 the opportunity to make a PERSONAL TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION TO THIS WORTHY CAUSE. The Lynnwood Neighborhood Center is a joint partnership with Trinity Lutheran Church and Schools, who leased their land to VOAWW for $1.00 per year for 50 years and is renewable, and Volunteers of America Western Washington.
