PNW Rotary Means Business Fellowship Launching in the Pacific Northwest

A new opportunity for Rotarians to connect purpose and enterprise is taking shape: PNW Rotary Means Business (RMB), a regional chapter of the global Rotary fellowship that brings Rotarians together to collaborate professionally, grow their businesses, and create greater impact in their communities.

What is Rotary Means Business?

Rotary Means Business is an official Rotary Fellowship that encourages Rotarians to do business with each other ethically, deepen professional relationships, and strengthen local economies. Through mixers, spotlights on member businesses, referral circles, and professional collaboration, RMB helps members grow as leaders and entrepreneurs—while staying anchored to Rotary’s values and the Four-Way Test.

Today, RMB is among the fastest-growing fellowships in Rotary, with chapters worldwide connecting professionals across industries and across borders.

Back to Rotary’s Roots

Rotary began in 1905 when Paul Harris and three colleagues in Chicago met to build trusted business friendships grounded in integrity and service. Those early meetings rotated among members’ offices—hence the name “Rotary.” From that small circle grew a global service organization.
RMB honors that origin story by re-embracing professional connection as a force for good: when Rotarians thrive in business, they have greater capacity to serve.

Why a PNW Chapter?

The Pacific Northwest is rich with innovators, small-business owners, and mission-driven companies. PNW Rotary Means Business will bring together Rotarians and Rotaractors from clubs across the region to:

  • Host monthly networking evenings and virtual meetups

  • Share qualified referrals and collaborative opportunities

  • Highlight member businesses that model Rotary’s ethics

  • Activate skills and resources for community service and economic development

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Rotary alumni from any club in the Pacific Northwest who want to grow their businesses, expand their networks, and channel professional success into greater community impact.
