This year, Bloodworks Northwest is once again proud to participate in the return of the We Give Blood drive with Abbott and the Big Ten®.
Football season is about more than rivalries and game days—it’s about coming together to make a difference. From August 26 through December 4, blood donors across the country can help save lives while supporting their favorite Big Ten® team.
When you donate or present to donate blood during the campaign period, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Receive a free exclusive Big Ten® T-shirt (while supplies last) *
- Bring your favorite Big Ten® school one step closer to a $1 million grant from Abbott to advance student or community health
- Impact up to 3 lives
Here’s how to participate:
- Students, alumni, and fans can donate at blood drives or at blood centers nationwide. Schedule your appointment here.
- Register your donation at BigTen.org/Abbott/submit or text ‘GIVEBLOOD’ to 222688 (ABBOTT) to claim your tee and give your university credit.*
