As we begin a new Rotary year, I’m honored and humbled to serve as your District Governor for District 5030 across the greater Puget Sound area. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m continually inspired by the passion and purpose of our clubs. Whether it’s advancing local youth programs, championing environmental initiatives, or building global bridges through service, your collective impact is felt both here at home and far beyond our region.
This year, I invite each of you to lean into Rotary’s theme: “Unite for Good.” Uniting makes us stronger via the transformative power of community, compassion, and shared action. We have an opportunity to elevate our impact, engage new voices, and reimagine what’s possible. Together we can finally End Polio as the goalline is within reach.
I know that we can grow membership in every club across 5030 if we focus on improving the club experience and enhancing the way we tell our “Rotary Story” when talking with our professional contacts, colleagues, and friends. Please also ensure that your club’s Rotary Action Plan is in place, and that your club’s goals are up-to-date.
Thank you for your continued dedication. I look forward to visiting your clubs, hearing your stories, and working side by side to make this a year of connection, innovation, and lasting service.
Let’s make it count—together.
Yours in Rotary service,
Jeffrey Borek
