The Bellevue Eastside Rotary Club gathered in true Bavarian fashion for an Oktoberfest-themed fellowship event hosted at a member’s home. Dressed in lederhosen, dirndls, and plenty of Rotary smiles, members enjoyed an afternoon of laughter, traditional music, and hearty fare — complete with pretzels, bratwurst, and imported Oktoberfest Lager from Munich.
Beyond the fun and festivities, the event captured the essence of Rotary fellowship — strengthening bonds through shared experiences and a little friendly cheer. The atmosphere was warm and lively, filled with laughter, clinking steins, and the unmistakable joy of Rotarians coming together outside of their usual meetings.
But the story didn’t end there. When the gathering wrapped up, Rotarians Aimee and Ryan took the spirit of the event one step further, forming what quickly became known as the “Mobile Beer Unit.” Determined not to let any of the precious brew go to waste, they made surprise visits to fellow members around the area the next day — delivering pints of Oktoberfest cheer right to their doorsteps!
It was a simple gesture that turned into another round of smiles, photos, and laughter across the Bellevue Eastside Rotary community — a perfect example of how Rotary fellowship can spill over (sometimes literally!) into acts of friendship and connection that last long after the party ends.
Prost to fellowship, friendship, and Rotary spirit! 🍻
