The Rotary Club of the Pacific NW Ending Sex Trafficking is seeking partner clubs for its 2026-27 District Matching Grant project, “The Men’s Project: Preventing Exploitation.”
This initiative invites Rotary members and other community-minded participants into thoughtful, facilitated conversations about healthy masculinity, cultural pressures, and the role men can play in preventing commercial sexual exploitation. The project is grounded in leadership, not blame, and is designed to create constructive spaces for reflection, dialogue, and action.
The Men’s Project builds on a pilot phase that included interviews and facilitated workshops exploring masculinity, responsibility, empathy, accountability, and cultural messages that can contribute to exploitation. The club now hopes to expand the model across District 5030 by partnering with other Rotary clubs interested in hosting, participating in, or helping sponsor these conversations in their own communities.
Planned activities include facilitated workshops, broader community dialogue, and a viewing of the film The Mask You Live In in collaboration with a community partner. The project is expected to run from November 2026 through June 2028.
