Creating Lasting Impact
As we begin a new Rotary year, I am filled with gratitude, optimism, and excitement for what lies ahead for District 5030.
Rotary has always been about people—people who see a need and choose to act. Every project completed, every dollar raised, every student mentored, and every life changed begins with a Rotarian who decided to make a difference. Together, those individual actions create something much larger: lasting impact.
This year, I invite each of us to reflect on the impact we want to create in our clubs, our communities, and around the world. Whether you are a new member attending your first meeting or a longtime Rotarian with decades of service, you have an important role to play in our shared success.
Our District goals this year are simple:

We will focus on creating meaningful experiences for our members, building strong and welcoming club cultures, developing new leaders, and expanding our service to meet the changing needs of our communities. We will celebrate innovation, encourage collaboration, and tell our Rotary stories more effectively so others can see the difference Rotary makes every day.
I have witnessed firsthand the power of Rotary. I have seen clean water transform communities. I have seen people discover their potential through leadership programs. I have watched Rotarians step forward during times of crisis to help neighbors they may never meet again. These moments remind me that Rotary is not simply an organization—it is a force for good in the world.
But our future will not be built by a District Governor or a District Team. It will be built by every Rotarian who chooses to engage, lead, serve, and inspire others.
Throughout the year, I look forward to visiting clubs across District 5030, learning from your successes, celebrating your achievements, and discovering the unique ways you are creating lasting impact in your communities.
